Respectable performance from KHC Ladies 2′s
This Saturday Knutsford Ladies 2nd team travelled to Sandbach High School to play South Cheshire Ladies 2s.
During an equally matched first half the girls were looking solid and had great possession. The first half ended with Sarah Fielding having scored an impressive goal with a great hit just inside the circle. There followed a gruelling second half in which South Cheshire scored a couple of controversial goals leaving the girls down 3-1.
With a last minute short corner Gill Cheshire made it a respectable 3-2 final score line with a fantastic hit from the edge of the circle. It was the efforts of Millie Parr once again that once again caught the notice of team as she was moving around the pitch with fervour and made some great passes and was awarded man of the match.
D of the day goes to captain Ellie Booth for arriving to play a hockey match with no hockey stick.
