Knutsford and District Lions provide Christmas Lunch for those on their own
Knutsford and District Lions are again extending their offer to those who are alone over the festive season to join them for a free Christmas Day lunch at the Stanley Centre.
The lunch – for over 30 people – will offer a traditional Christmas meal, visits from Santa and the town mayor. There will also be carol singing taking place.
Collections can be arranged from 11:30am, with return by 2:30pm.
If you – or someone you know – would like to attend, please call 01565 633346 as soon as possible.
Knutsford Lions also currently have an appeal called ‘Project Wenceslas’ where they encourage senior citizens who feel that they do not need all of their Winter Fuel Allowance to make a donation and help local families or individuals who are trapped in food poverty.
