By on December 21, 2017

Mottram Hall Hotel was awarded four silver stars for service, cleanliness and food and drink in the AA’s rating system overhall.

The new Silver Star rating is only being awarded to hotels – such as 18th-century Georgian hotel Mottram Hall – with an existing rosette award.

Deirdre Billing, general manager of Mottram Hall, said: “Having won the title of ‘Best Wedding Venue South Manchester’ at the Eat Drink Sleep Awards earlier this year, we’re delighted to be awarded with this new accolade.

“It’s a further sign for our customers of the exceptional service and the experience they can expect at Mottram Hall.

“We are so pleased to see our team recognised in the industry with this amazing accolade, a testament to all their hard work in making Mottram Hall not just a luxurious wedding venue, but a front runner in the luxury hotel market.”

In other news, Craig Porretta, best man at a wedding held at Mottram Hall was awarded the QHotels Wedding Speech of the year award following his rap-style best man’s speech. He wins an overnight stay and dinner for two people at one of QHotel’s four-star venues.
