Free entry to Jodrell Bank ends tomorrow

By on December 16, 2017

This week Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre has opened its doors for free to anyone who has ever bough a ticket for the National Lottery.

The initiative, part of a national Heritage Lottery Fund scheme to thank those who have provided funding for projects, means that anyone with proof of ever playing the National Lottery can get into the centre for free until tomorrow.

The centre recently benefited from £12 million funing from the lottery to support its First Light Project.

Lorna Harper, deputy director of Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre said: “Thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund, we’ve been able to do begin work on this exciting new development for Jodrell Bank.

“While we’re still in the early stages of the project, this is a great opportunity for us to say thank you to those people that have helped fund it.”
