Cheshire’s best primary schools
The best performing primary schools in Cheshire have been revealed following SATs results published by the Department of Education.
64% of children are meeting the ‘expected standard’ in reading, writing and maths across Cheshire, exceeding the national average of 61%.
Lower Peover achieved a rate of 91% and Peover Superior achieved 89%, two of the best results in Cheshire. Bexton was the best performing school in Knursford, at a rate of 69%.

- Goostrey Community Primary School – 84%
- High Legh Primary School – 80%
- Holmes Chapel Primary School – 75%
- Mobberley CofE Primary School – 70%
- Bexton Primary School – 69%
- Hermitage Primary School – 66%
- St Vincent de Paul Catholic Primary School – 63%
- Egerton Primary School – 62%
- Manor Park Primary School – 59%
