MyMind wins Innovator of the Year Award

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service were awarded accolades at this year’s National Children and Young People’s Mental Health Awards.

The award was given in recognition of their pioneering support website MyMind.org.uk, co-produced with the young people who use the service and those interested in the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people across Cheshire and Wirral.

The site has also won an award at the iNetwork Innovation Awards and been highly commended in the Young People’s Mental Health Awards and the Health Service Journal Awards.

Consultant clinical psychologist and clinical director at local mental health trust CWP Dr Fiona Pender said: “We were really proud to be winners at the inaugural National Children and Young People’s Mental Health Awards and to be recognised for all the work that young people, their families and staff put into delivering and maintaining the MyMind website.”

The ceremony was held in Manchester’s Town Hall, with Winsford’s CAMHS servicealso highly commended.
