An exhibition showing off Cheshire’s finest rail destinations is taking place at Knutsford Heritage Centre until April.

The ‘Marvellous Days Out’ poster exhibition is a free event which will display 1930’s style art deco posters which feature the Knutsford stop.

A Knutsford Heritage Centre spokesman said: “This exhibition, commissioned by the Mid-Cheshire Community Rail Partnership, features the designs of Nick Thompson from Chester-based Lemondrop Creative.

“You will also be able to buy souvenirs from our gift shop including replicas of these iconic posters. Our range of items includes prints, postcards and a specially commissioned coffee/tea mug featuring the Knutsford poster and the train stops along the line.”

The other vintage posters include Manchester, Stockport, Altrincham, Hale, Lostock Gralam, Northwich, Delamere and Chester.
