Knutsford Rose Queen chosen

A schoolgirl from Knutsford Academy has been chosen to be Knutsford’s Rose Queen.
12-year-old Annie Barker, from Mobberley, will be the queen this summer, following a stint as Lady in Waiting last year.
The Rose Queen Festival will take place on 16th June, with the crowning ceremony taking place after the village procession.
Her grandmother was also part of the Rose Queen Festival during the 1960s.
Annie is in the 1st Mobberley Scouts and her hobbies include trampolining and playing the piano.
Her Ladies in Waiting at the event are Kiki Shepherd and Libby Yates.
