Knutsford’s Tap and Bottle closes
Tap and Bottle, Knutsford’s Beer Bar, has closed to undergo refurbishment whilst new owners move in.
Rick Hoskins, Tap and Bottle’s managing director said:
“It is with great sadness that the Tap and Bottle is to close its doors. The Tap has been a labour of love, and I have absolutely loved running my own business and achieving my dream of providing Knutsford with great tasting beer with an easy-going atmosphere. t has been an honour to serve you all and to be presented with awards for serving quality beer.”
“However, after more than a decade in the trade it is time for me to take some time away from the industry, focus on family life and embark on a new challenge. Although I am sad to say goodbye it is not all doom and gloom. The bar will be undergoing refurbishment with some new faces running the show, and we know they will continue to provide you with the same quality beer and amazing service you know and love.”
“When it reopens it will be very similar in terms of its offering and feel as a building. I would like to thank our incredible staff, customers and everyone who has supported us over the past three years. I am thankful for all the wonderful people I have had the pleasure to meet along the way. I would not have been able to do it without you – see you on the other side of the bar!”
The new owners are Mobberley Brewhouse, who will be re-opening the bar on Minshull Street in summer.
