Knutsford firefighters receive long service awards

Firefighters from Knutsford, Richard McGrorey and Jon Woolley, have had their outstanding service with Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service officially recognised.
The Long Service Good Conduct medal was presented to 13 serving firefighters by the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, David Briggs.
Jon is a Watch Manager who has been working for the service since 1990 in the RAF. Richard joined in 1997, covering his home town of Knutsford at Lymm Fire Station.
Richard he retired from firefighting last month he is hoping to return to Knutsford as an on-call firefighter later in the year.
