Easter egg raffles raise thousands for North West children’s cancer research

By on April 14, 2018

North West charity, Friends of Rosie, signed up supporters across Greater Manchester and Cheshire to take part in their annual Easter egg raffle fundraiser, with huge handcrafted eggs provided by master chocolatier, Slattery.

With the help of local and national businesses, schools and community groups, the charity raised almost £3,500 this Easter, money which will be used to get more new and innovative research ideas off the ground to help children with cancer.

Says Friends of Rosie Trustee, Lisa Larkin, “This is our third annual Easter egg raffle with Slattery and we’re delighted that each year we gain more supporters and raise more money. The funds will go towards our two current research projects helping find better treatments for children with brain tumours and bone cancer. Huge thanks go to everyone who supported us this Easter.”
