Highways service provider looks to recruit local people

Job seekers can find out what it is like to work for highways service provider, Ringway Jacobs, at two upcoming recruitment events being held this month.

The event will provide an opportunity for prospective employees to meet hiring managers, find out more about a career in highways and express an interest in working for Ringway Jacobs in Cheshire.

The events will be held in the Capesthorne Room at Macclesfield Town Hall on Tuesday 15 May and in the Alexandra Suite at Crewe Alexandra Football Club on Monday 21 May. Both events will run between 2pm and 6pm and anyone that is interested is invited to drop in at any time during these hours.

Numerous vacancies will be available in a variety of areas from design and engineering to works delivery and support functions such as customer service. Roles are based in offices and depots throughout Cheshire.

Candidates who are passionate about making a positive contribution to their local community through the safe and efficient delivery of the highways service are encouraged to attend and apply to join the team.

Posts to be advertised at the event include engineers, electricians, highways maintenance operatives, site supervisors, business administrator and a storeman. Entry level roles include highways maintenance apprentices and graduates, where on the job learning will be supported by a structured training scheme.

Ringway Jacobs Contract Director, Chris Shields, said: “We are looking to bring new talent into our business at a range of levels.”
