Ultimate Creative Communication to sponsor Seashell Trust’s cycling sportive

By on August 16, 2018

Ultimate Creative Communications, one of the North-West’s leading creative agencies, based in Knutsford in Cheshire, has signed up as the latest sponsor of the 2018 Seashell Trust charity sportive.

A feature of the Seashell Trust sportive is the quality of its feed-stations en route, providing sustenance and encouragement to the riders.  The staff team at Ultimate Creative Communications will be running the largest of these at Flash, the highest village in England.

Taking place on Sunday 16 September the event will start and finish at the charity’s campus in Cheadle Hulme.

Now in its fourth year, this fully-supported event, has a choice of four routes from 30 miles for families and beginners new to sportives right up to a 100 mile route taking in 10 of the region’s top hill climbs.  The ride takes in the very best scenery Cheshire, the Peak District and Staffordshire have to offer.

Run entirely by volunteers, every penny raised from the event goes directly to supporting the work of Seashell Trust.

“Having visited Seashell on a number of occasions I was deeply moved by the dedication of the staff and the positive and happy environment,” said Matt Townsend founder and CEO of Ultimate. “As a very keen cyclist myself I take for granted the fact that I can enjoy some of the finest countryside in the country on my bike.  For the children and young people educated and cared for at Seashell, this is not possible.  If Ultimate can help in some small way through my own passion for cycling I feel we will be making a valuable contribution to their young lives.”

Dominic Tinner, Head of Fundraising at Seashell Trust said, “As a company which is committed to the communities in which it operates we are delighted to welcome Ultimate on board.  Matt and his team have already shown their commitment to Seashell by volunteering, introducing us to potential corporate supporters and now, by sponsoring our cycling sportive.”
