A536 Closed following serious collision in Macclesfield
At approximately 7.40am today, Thursday 25 October, Officers were called to reports of a serious collision between a HGV and a motorcyclist on the A536 in Macclesfield.
The collision occurred at the Congleton Road and Ivy Lane crossroads, near to Macclesfield College.
Emergency Services are in attendance at the scene a number of roads are currently closed, including the A536 Congleton Road, Ivy Lane, Oxford Road and Park Lane. The closures are expected to remain in place for several hours.
Local diversions are currently in place, although motorist are advised to avoid the area if possible.
