Police appeal for information after two sexual assaults in Knutsford

Police are appealing for information after a man sexually assaulted two women in Knutsford.

The first incident happened on Bexton Road, Knutsford, on Wednesday 10 October when a man approached a 38-year-old woman and grabbed her bottom before running off towards Black Hill Lane.

The second incident happened on Blackhill Lane, Knutsford, on Friday 2 November when a 42-year-old woman who was jogging was grabbed from behind by a man who groped her bottom before he ran off.

The man is described as white, 18 or 19 years old, approximately 6’ tall, slim build, with brown hair.

In the first incident he was wearing jeans, a black beanie hat and a black top/jacket. The second incident he was wearing a grey hoodie.

PC Lawrence Price said: “These offences have understandably caused a large amount of concern in the local area and we have stepped up patrols in the area to try and provide reassurance to the community.

“We are also seeking any witnesses who may have seen the man and we are specifically looking to speak to a couple who spoke to the victim in the second incident shortly after the offence occurred.
