Knutsford Beer Festival moves back to town centre in 2019

By on January 2, 2018

The team behind the Knutsford Beer Festival have confirmed that the event will return to its town centre roots as the Courthouse is announced as the venue for 2019.

When the volunteer-run event first launched in 2014, it was held in the then-vacant Old Town Hall – now the Lost & Found. The central position in the town made it an ideal location for a festival, enabling high visibility and support for local businesses. Andrew Malloy, Chairman of the Knutsford Beer Festival committee told us, “We are delighted to bring the Knutsford Beer Festival back into the town centre. The Courthouse is a fantastic venue and we’re sure that next year’s festival will  be the high-quality event that Knutsford deserves. We would like to thank Egerton Youth Club for hosting us for the last two years, they have a fabulous facility, and it has been a pleasure to support them.”

The festival will bring together a wide selection of keg and cask beers, cider as well as a full bar of gin, spirits, wine and prosecco from The Courthouse who will also be offering a range of street food including burgers and halloumi fries.

The festival will take place from 11th – 13th April 2019 with sessions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings plus a dedicated tasting session on the Saturday afternoon. Tickets will be available from mid-December by visiting the website or picking up one of the limited-edition Christmas baubles in supporting outlets around the town.

The Knutsford Beer Festival is already backed by a number of local sponsors including Tatton Brewery, Bella Design and , Rachel Bishop Consulting. Any companies interested in sponsorship opportunities for the event can contact

Anyone interested in the event can sign-up for more information on the website:
