1,500 take part in Tatton Yule Yomp

1,500 people took part in the Tatton Yule Yomp – including almost one hundred 6 to 16 year olds following the reinstation of the 3k race for youngsters.
Runners raced through Tatton Park, emerging from the Knutsford Gate to Mereheath Lane, towards the finish line at Egerton Youth Club.
The event has been taking place since 2009, with the organisation team coming from Cheshire Hash House Harriers, who have raised £150,000 for local charities over the years.
Roberts Bakery has been involved as the main sponsor for many years, providing bread and cakes as part of the goody bags. Sheldons of Knutsford also supported, bringing a milk float to the event, filled with bottled water and milk for the runners.
