Nominations open for annual Knutsford Town Awards

The annual Knutsford Town Awards are now open for nominations.

Knutsford Town council is seeking for nominations of those in the community who have been exceptional in contributing to Knutsford as a whole.

The awards will celebrate volunteers, community members and local businesses who have contribution to the community in 2018.

There are four awards categories:

  • Civic Award will go to an individual (or group of individuals) who give their time to the community
  • Business Award will go to a local business for their work engaging and contributing to the community
  • Community Award will go to a community organisation to recognise the work they do in the community
  • Youth Award recognises the members of our community 21 and under.

The ceremony will take place in March at the Annual Town Meeting at St John the Baptist’s Church

Knutsford based Forum of Private Business has sponsored the Town Awards since their launch in 2013 and are sponsoring the awards again this year.

What makes Knutsford so special is the people, be it in business, charitable and volunteer work and as a supportive local community and that’s why we are delighted to be doing our bit to support our town.”

Nominations can be made online at knutsfordtowncouncil.gov.uk/community/town-awards or by nomination form which can be picked up from Knutsford Market Hall and The Welcome Café. The deadline for nominations 31st January 2019.
