The Royal Cheshire County Show is pleased to release the competition schedules for this year’s event held at Tabley Park in Knutsford, 18th June to 19th June.

The family-friendly Show, organised by the Cheshire Agricultural Society, celebrates the fascinating aspects of rural life in the beautiful Cheshire countryside.

The Cheshire Show holds many competition classes for cattle, sheep, pigs and dairy goats. Classes are also available for light and heavy horses, show jumping, rare breeds of livestock, poultry, pygmy goats, pigeons, cavies, rabbits and dogs.

Show Director of the Cheshire Agricultural Society CIO, Rob Davenport comments: “Each year the entries for the competitions segment of the show exceed our expectations, we can’t wait to see the talent this year’s event brings to the showground!”

Amongst a jam-packed schedule of competitions, the Main Ring will host many exciting attractions including The International Dzhigitovka Show, an unparalleled performance of horsemanship and daring skill showcased by the Cossack Trick Riders, National Squad Dzhigitovka Competitors and World Championship Performers.

Working directly with the Russian Cossacks, the Show is a spectacular, military precision Trick Riding and Weapons show performing authentic, traditional Cossack Dzhigit skills. The Show will be the first time in history British, Russian and International Cossack riders will ride together here in the UK in a truly splendid performance.

The World Dzhigitovka Champion, Sergey Murugov, will perform with other top professional riders coming from around the world to ride alongside the British team. Dzhigitovka provides breathtaking, family entertainment that is simply unforgettable.
