Booths Knutsford Raises over £6,000 for Knutsford Community First Responder Trust
Booths Knutsford has raised £6,138.00 for the Knutsford Community First Responder Trust (KCFRT) this year, in a range of events at the Cheshire store, ranging from wine tastings to Christmas carol events to gin and whiskey samplings.
The First Responders Trust is a dedicated team of local volunteers trained by and working with the North West Ambulance Service to preserve life and promote recovery in emergencies within a 5 mile radius of Knutsford.
Sal Thompson chair of the Knutsford Community First Responder Trust says, “We are a small dedicated team of local volunteers who aim to make Knutsford a safer place to live. Our charity is grateful for the energy, enthusiasm and commitment of the Booths team who have helped to fund lifesaving services, training and defibrillators locally, making Knutsford a safer place to live.
We’re so very grateful for the support of Booths, not only in raising valuable funds but in helping to raise the profile of our charity and the important work we do to support the local community.”
Specialist manager from Booths, Sharon Abella said: “Our heart is in the community and we’re delighted to help support local charities in our fundraising. Any family in the region might find themselves in need of a first responder and we’re keen to support their valuable work.”
