Cheshire country house for sale for the price of a semi
Grade I listed 15th century Haslington Hall in Cheshire is for sale with a guide price of just £250,000.
The 14 acre estate, near Crewe, is available to view online before going up for sale on 16th July at auction.
Although fire damaged, the vacant freehold property, which dates back to 1480, is sold with three ancillary buildings – including stables and a building used as an office – and is set within 14 acres of land, complete with its own lake.
Commenting on the property, Strettons director Andrew Brown said: “This is a unique opportunity to purchase a real piece of history and a large area of land, all for the price of many new build three-bed semis. The property will need work, but the substantial outbuildings and grounds have real potential to create a unique estate in a rural setting close to Manchester. It could be someone’s perfect Grand Design!”
Strettons’ national auction takes place at noon on Tuesday, July 16, in Holborn at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, Great Queen Street, London, WC2B 5DA.
