Knutsford student comes 2nd in WIFSA World Championships

Misk Al Rawi, from Knutsford, has been placed second in her category in the WIFSA Inline Figure Skating Championships in Italy.

It is Misk’s first world open, competing against 25 opponents from around the world to represent Great Britain.

Misk attends Knutsford Academy school and is part of Silverblades Inline Skating Team, who returned from WIFSA with 4 new World Champions taking Gold in their respective categories, 5 silver medalists and 1 bronze medal. In addition to this, Silverblades also won Bronze in the team category, finishing behind Russia (Gold ) and Ireland (Silver).
