Gascoigne Halman ‘In Bloom’ success

By on August 18, 2019

Gascoigne Halman, an estate agent with 20 branches across east Cheshire, south Manchester and the High Peak, held an office-wide In Bloom competition, encouraging branches to get creative with flowers, plants and decorations.

The winning branch was chosen as Knutsford, much to the happiness of the team.

Branch manager Andrew Rogers said: “The team and I are delighted to have won the Gascoigne Halman In Bloom award. We loved how bright and welcoming the office looked and received lots of compliments from customers and passers-by.”

Inspiration for the office-wide competition came from the Britain in Bloom competition, with each office give £100 to create floral delights at their branch.

Managing director John Halman said: “When judging the competition I visited all 20 branches, and enjoyed looking at the way in which each office made their branch a credit to the towns and villages in which they are situated. Without exception, every office has said how local people have made comments as to how their displays have improved the appearance of their location and made us stand out from the crowd. The judges and I decided the overall winner was Knutsford, but it was a difficult decision. Well done to everyone on such a fantastic competition.”

The competition was so successful the estate agent is looking to roll it out again next year.
