Neighbourhood Policing

By on April 21, 2009

PC Ambrose, who is responsible for policing the town centre of Knutsford was at Booths Cafe between 13:00 and 14:30 and provided members of public with leaflets on protecting yourself against bogus tradesmen as well as giving away ultraviolet pens which can be used to help identify your property should it be stolen.

“Its always great to get out and about and speak to local residents” said PC Ambrose who has been part of Knutsford’s Neighbourhood Policing Team since last April.  “It’s the best possible way of finding out how you can help people in your community and address any issues that they may have”.

PC Ambrose and his colleague PCSO Dan Russell can often be seen patrolling the town centre and encourage members of the public to come forward with any information they have about any criminal activities in the area.

“If anyone has any information regarding a crime which has occurred or is going to occur please don’t hesitate to stop us for a chat, no matter how trivial it might seem, it might be the last piece of the puzzle that we are looking for”.
