IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DOG………….. | Knutsford Times

By on May 6, 2010

We are proud to announce that after a couple of false starts ‘Timmy the 10-year old Border Terrier’ has been successful in becoming ‘Toto’ for our May 2010 production of ‘The Wizard of OZ’, taking place week commencing 24th May at The Grange Theatre, Hartford.  (please see attached poster for details).  I wonder which doggy ‘The Lord’ is going to choose for his production!

He is training hard for the part and is proving to be an absolute star.  He has developed a wonderful relationship with his fellow cast and is such a performer.  He is behaving himself and thoroughly enjoying being with us, and to date we haven’t had a single accident……..if you know what I mean!!

Timmy belongs to one of our Society members, Elaine Oakley, who has very kindly agreed to lend him to us for the show.

PLEA FROM THE HEART……………We are still currently looking for a Rehearsal Pianist and are becoming desperate to fill the position.  If you are interested, or know of someone who might be, then please contact our Secretary, Linda Rushton on 01565 873285 or visit our website at

WE’RE ALL SUPPORTING DANIELLE……………..Somewhere over the BBC Television Centre, our very own Danielle Hope, a pupil of Knutsford High School, is now down to the last 7 in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Search for Dorothy”.  KAOS would like to extend our continued support to her and wish Danielle every success in the competition.  You can do it!!
