A Double-Bill for the Tabley Friends!

its Hall and its gardens, they’re now planning another trip, this time with two destinations of special interest.

On Wednesday 16th June a coach trip to Blackburn will include visits to the city’s Museum & Art Gallery and to the Cathedral.  The Tabley Friends will have the benefit of guided tours at both of them.

The Museum and Art Gallery is nationally acclaimed for its collection of fine art, Japanese prints, coins and manuscripts.  The Anglican Cathedral has one of the finest collections of modern religious art in the country.

“It should be a really good outing” said Nick Payne, Chairman of the Friends “As usual all proceeds will go towards our latest re-furbishment project in the House, which is the restoration of the chapel interior”.

The coach will depart from Tabley House car park at 9.30 and return at about 5.30. Tickets are £29 (£26 for Friends) – and include lunch.  Contact Anna Smyth on 01565-651979
