Two owners: One Mission!

By on November 29, 2010

Duncan Jones and Richard Casson.

The Three Greyhounds at Allostock has two brothers as its new owners and they have just one mission – to restore this lovely country pub to its former glory, serving good locally sourced produce.

Half brothers Richard Casson and Duncan Jones have recently taken over The Three Greyhounds and have years of experience running successful businesses including the nearby Bells of Peover which Richard ran for over 10 years.

Within a matter of days fireplaces have been opened up, fires are now roaring, brasses cleaned, tables polished and the pub is now welcoming customers old and new.

‘We are pleased that this is a family affair with son Olly Casson as Head Chef, Alexa Casson as functions and events manager taking on the task of filling the 120 seat function room’ says Richard ‘We have a great calendar of entertainment planned for this Christmas and New Year and already have several tribute and comedy nights planned for 2011’

Duncan says ‘ We have lots of plans for The Three Greyhounds, it has so much potential and is in such a beautiful location opposite Shakerley Mere – we are surrounded by wonderful food producers and we feel very strongly that we should support the local economy’.

The Three Greyhounds are certainly back in the race!
