“Toe Dipping” into business

Anne Sturtivant, formerly the Manager’s Secretary at RBS Knutsford has dipped her toes into the business of beautiful feet.

“Businesses are often born out of necessity and mine was no different.  My older friends were struggling to cut their own toe nails and I offered to help – and from this simple beginning, social evenings grew from a couple of friends to 7 on one particular evening!  I thought it was high time to become professionally qualified and start my own business to help others.  Hence, TrimToes was born!”

Following redundancy from her banking career, Anne returned to college and won “Sports Massage Student of the Year” back in 2005.  “Having retrained in massage, I was often asked by older clients if I would trim their toe nails in addition to the massage and it was a pleasure to return to college to complete another course – this time in manicure and pedicure.  As a trained Swedish Massage Therapist, I offer foot massage as an option for clients, which is both enjoyable and therapeutic – it makes my essential service more popular – my clients see it as more of treat than a visit to the chiropodist.

Now, with a growing clientele, I am offering TrimToes services to a wider area through my website – “www.trimtoes.co.uk” and local advertising.  TrimToes’ ethos is affordable, cheerful footcare in your own home and prices start from just £10 for the basic service.”

TrimToes services are currently available throughout Knutsford, Lymm, Stockton Heath, Appleton, Stretton , Padgate and Northwich and surrounding villages and Anne hopes to continue to add new areas as demand dictates.
