Driving local employment
An open day took place in Knutsford today, encouraging residents in the local area and beyond to explore the apprenticeship route, on their journey into work.
The event was part of a campaign to boost local employment and encourage people, regardless of their age or background, to realise the multiple benefits that an apprenticeship can bring.
Hosted at the Welcome Café in Knutsford by local employer Brookfield Rose, who is currently recruiting for a number of apprentice roles for its fourteen companies, with the support of Great Places Housing Group, job seekers were able to discuss current vacancies and their career ambitions, in a relaxed environment
Local tenants from Great Places Housing Group were invited to attend and discuss employment opportunities, following a campaign on social media and through their job clubs.
