Foodies Festival Success at Tatton

By on July 18, 2017

Foodies Festival – the UK’s biggest food festival with 13 locations around the UK – returned to Tatton Park this weekend with appearances from Great British Bake Off Winner Candice Brown, MasterChef finalist 2017 Lorna Robertson and Great British Menu’s Aiden Byrne.

They weren’t the only celebrities in attendance however, with appearance from Corrie’s Sean Wilson, Great British Bake Off’s Luis Troyano, TV Chef and author Nisha Katona and The Big Family Showdown judge Rosemary Shrager.

The event featured a myriad of activities for food fanatics with a cake and desserts theatre, drinks theatre, chefs theatre, cookery school for kids, street food area, vintage cider and tea tents and restaurant tents. There was also music throughout the event from local musicians such as Manchester based China Lane, folk fusion band Roving Crows and local group Mohawk Radio.
Despite the mixed weather, visitors described the 3 day event as “an amazing day”, “great weekend” and “a fun day out”.

Ava Maitland from Foodies Festivals said: “This year Tatton Park Foodies Festival was a fantastic record-breaking year of visitors at the festival and it was brilliant to host Candice Brown’s book launch “Comfort”. The Cheshire foodie crowd turned out in droves for an amazing weekend food, drink & wellbeing and we can’t wait for next year already!”
