Lorry collision on King Street

A lorry hit three parked cars on King Street yesterday at around 5:10pm as it tried to pass them outside Gareth West Hairdressing.
Police attended the collision on the one way street, with a spokesman saying:
“A HGV driven down King Street has taken off several wing mirrors and is now stuck, completely blocking the road.
“All of the cars involved were parked and not moving.”
The incident was reported by CCTV operators with witnesses also on hand.
The King Street area of Knutsford was subject to a review in 2015 with discussions around pedestrianisation and improving traffic flow throughout the area.
