New Methodist minister for Knutsford

After saying goodbye to their longest serving minister Ben Clowes last month, Alderley Edge and Knutsford Circuit are now looking forward to welcoming his replacement Revd Sue Swires from September, along with her husband William who is an experienced lay preacher and missioner.
Sue is moving from the Vale of York, where she has spent the last 12 years, taking on responsibility for the Methodist churches in Alderley Edge, Mottram St Andrew and The Welcome in Knutsford.
She said “We are really looking forward to meeting everyone and pursuing God’s work in the diverse communities in which we are called to serve.”
Her Welcome Service will be held at Alderley Edge Methodist Church on Friday 1st September at 7:30pm, with all welcome to attend.
