RSPB holds Fairy Homes Workshop for kids

By on September 5, 2017

RSPB Coombes Valley are holding an event for kids at their nature reserve on 16 and 17 September between 11am and 4pm.

Kids will be able to build their own elf bungalow or fairy mansion to take home, with lots of opportunity to be creative and have fun. RSPC staff and volunteers will be on hand to help.

Murray Brown, RSPB Visitor Experience Officer at Coombes Valley says: “The fairy village is extremely popular and is just one of the many great activities on our play trail that help connect children to the natural world on the reserve. This is a great opportunity for visiting families to take some of the magic of Coombes Valley away with them.”

The event is being held as a drop in so families can attend at any time and there’s opportunity to wander down the woodland trail in search of the fairy village, make a potion in the mud kitchen or let their imagination run wild in the story circle. The event costs £10 per child with 20% off for RSPB members. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are not permitted.
