Knutsford Fire Station holds Open Day today

Knutsford Community Fire Station, on Mobberley Road, are holding an Open Day today (10th September 2017), from 10am-4pm, throwing open their station doors to the public in an event that promises something for everyone.

There will be a range of activities taking place including operational demonstrations and firefighter displays to watch. There will also be activities for children happening on the day.

Modern and vintage appliances will be on display along with specialist vehicles and equipment – including the Knutsford Community First Responder Team who are now also based at Knutsford Fire Station.

Firefighters will be joined on the day by other community groups, with refreshments available to buy including ice cream and crushed ice drinks. There will also be a fundraising bake off to raise money for injured firefighter Vicki Griffiths.
