A local cafe based in Knutsford’s historic Market Hall will be raising money for a good cause this Wednesday as part of the Macmillan Biggest Coffee Morning.

The Market Café will be offering a selection of tea, coffee and cake to raise funds for cancer research from 9:30am to 11:30am on September 27. There will also be a cake competition taking place for any budding Mary Berry’s in the area.

Launched in 1990, the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is the charity’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. Last year businesses taking part raised almost £30 million across the country. Since the beginning, the event has raised over £165.5 million for Macmillan.
