Saks Hair Knutsford raised over £10,000 for The Eve Appeal, a charity that supports women, following a gruelling 250-mile charity cycle.
Organised by franchisee Paula Wood, the team cycled from the salon in Knutsford to Saks HQ in Darlington before turning around and cycling back the following day.
Jezz Ellis, Saks UK’s business development manager who took part in the ride, said: “Immensely proud to represent Saks UK in this epic challenge.”
The ride took cyclists through Wilmslow, Cheadle, Manchester, Middleton and Rochdale before climbing over the Pennines into Hebden Bridge, Keighley and a Skipton lunch stop. It also saw them cover an increase in height of 18,000 feet – equivalent to the height of Everest base camp.
