HESWALL’S Tom Dolan won his third event of the season in the Galvin Green Northern Order of Merit when he swept to a five shot victory in the Mere Trophy with a brace of 69s.
It hoisted him into third place in the table and with five events remaining it’s getting tight at the top.
Bury’s Ciaran Doherty increased his lead over second-placed Cameron Massey, from Northenden, to 90 points while Dolan is 135 off the pace.
